What type of cable assembly does my sensor require?2 Pin MS 5015 - CMCP602 Series CablesThe most common type of sensor features a 2 Pin MS 5015 connector, also known as an MS Connector or MIL 5015. STI offers 2 Pin MS 5015 sensor extension cables in either a general purpose TPE cable, rated to 120 Deg C, or a high temperature FEP cable, rated to 200 Deg. C. Both types of cables are available with IP68 rated connectors which can be the push on, screw on or low cost overmolded type.
3 Pin MS 5015 - CMCP603 Series CablesThe 3 Pin MS 5015 connector is commonly found on dual output sensors and can also be known as an MS Connector or MIL 5015. STI offers 2 Pin MS 5015 sensor extension cables in either a general purpose TPE cable, rated to 120 Deg C, or a high temperature FEP cable, rated to 200 Deg. C. Both types of cables are available with IP68 rated connectors which can be the push on, screw on or low cost overmolded type. Additionaly armored cables are available to provide protection to the cable in areas where damage may occur.
4 or 5 Pin M12 Connector - CMCP605M Series Cables
M12 connectors are typically used on sensors which have multiple outputs such as triaxial accelerometers although they can also be commonly found on single axis sensors as well. STI's CMCP605M cable is compatible with both 4 and 5 Pin M12 sensors. M12 cable assemblies are available with a general purpose PVC jacket suitable for temperatures up to 120 Deg. C.
