The CMCP-TKBC Bias Checker is a small, portable device to quickly check Voltages on standard Industrial Accelerometers. In addition, the Bias Checker can provide power to Dual Parameter Sensors (Acceleration and Temperature) and read out the Temperature output or a Data Analyzer can be used.
Voltage is by far the best way to verify if the Industrial Accelerometer is working properly! 24 VDC Powered Accelerometers are usually considered OK if their Bias Voltage is somewhere between 4.0 VDC and 16.0 VDC. A good rule of thumb is 50% of Supply Voltage.
